Tardy Declaration (Delayed Birth Registration): Assistance with the registration of children who have not been officially registered at birth, ensuring access to legal rights and social services.
Psychological Support: Professional counseling for children and families to address the emotional impact of abuse and neglect.
Follow-up Services: Ongoing support for children after their placement in care or their return to their family, including reintegration programs (Back to Home) and family therapy.

Legal Assistance: Help with legal processes, including applications for Protection Orders, Occupation Orders, and Tenancy Orders under the PDVA.
Crisis Response and Emergency Shelter: Temporary accommodation and urgent intervention for victims of domestic violence and their children.
Perpetrator Counselling: Tailored counselling services to address and reduce violent behavior among perpetrators.
Mediation Services: Facilitation of family and parental mediation to help resolve disputes and assist in the reintegration process.

Child Watch Committees: Community-based initiatives to monitor child welfare and advocate for child protection at the grassroots level.
Interfaith Forum on Gender-Based Violence (GBV): Collaborative platform that engages religious leaders to address GBV through community dialogue, awareness campaigns, and joint action.
Public Awareness Campaigns: Outreach programs to raise awareness about gender-based violence, child protection, and family welfare, including sensitization campaigns at schools, community centers, and media outlets.

24/7 Service Availability
Hotlines and Mobile Application: Accessible 24/7 through hotlines (113, 119, 139) and the mobile app (LESPWAR), providing immediate support and crisis intervention.
On-Call Services: Family Support Services personnel remain on-call after regular office hours to attend to urgent cases of domestic violence and child abuse.
Legal and Court Support
Legal Resource Person (LRP) Services: Guidance on understanding legal rights and processes, especially related to domestic violence and child protection.
Court Proceedings Assistance: Support for victims in the preparation of affidavits and other necessary documentation for court applications under the PDVA and Children's Act.
Site Visits: Family Support Services officers conduct site visits, including in cases of severe violence, to ensure the protection and well-being of the victims.
Family Support Services Locations and Access
With 12 operational Family Support Services centers across the island, we ensure that services are accessible to all, providing on-the-ground support for families in need. The services are available at the FSS offices, through hotlines, and during outreach initiatives.
